Chefs

Founding chefs of Harry’s Piccolo, Matteo Metullio and Davide De Pra have worked side by side since 2013. Born in Trieste, Matteo refined his approach in the kitchens of Norbert Niederkofler, developing a precise, ingredient-driven style. Raised in the Dolomites, Davide brought the same discipline he once applied to competitive skiing, shaping his craft across Alpine kitchens before joining Matteo. Together, they earned two Michelin stars at Harry’s Piccolo in Trieste, guided by a philosophy that places the ingredient at the centre – handled with restraint and expressed with clarity. In Poreč, their creative direction is carried forward by Head Chef Goran Hrastovčak.
